Background of the Study
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are crucial to the economic development of local government areas like Shendam LGA, providing jobs and driving economic activities. One of the most effective tools for SMEs to make informed business decisions is Cost-Volume-Profit (CVP) analysis, which helps in understanding the relationships between costs, sales volume, and profits. This study seeks to explore the role of CVP analysis in decision-making for SMEs in Shendam LGA.
Statement of the Problem
Many SMEs in Shendam LGA struggle to make informed decisions regarding pricing, production levels, and cost management due to limited understanding of financial tools like CVP analysis. As a result, businesses often face challenges such as low profitability and inefficient resource utilization.
